Background/Profile

Born in Osaka in 1973
1995 Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Kansai University
1999: Studied under his father, Kanji Arata
2002: Built an anagama kiln and held his first solo exhibition in the same year.
Since 2003, he has held solo and group exhibitions in various locations.
2008: Built his second anagama kiln
2011: New kiln construction
