Background/Profile

Born in Maruhashira, Iga City, Mie Prefecture in 1981
2004 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical College
2005: Studied under Ryoji Koie in Kamiyasaku, Ena City, Gifu Prefecture
2006: Training in anagama kiln in Berkeley, California
2010: Built a hole kiln in his home studio. Currently works in Maruhashira, Iga City.
