10 Sokuu Blue Hand-Thrown Japanese Bowl

Sokuu’s clear, radiant blue brings a vivid and refreshing accent to the table. Its distinctive glaze reflects a historic color tradition said to have traveled from ancient Persia to Japan along the Silk Road.

Bright and expressive, this versatile bowl is perfect for serving side dishes such as simmered vegetables, dressed salads, and other small dishes. It can also be used as a café-style bowl or as a slightly larger matcha bowl.

The beautiful finger-drawn ridges along the side add texture and character to the piece while highlighting NINSHU’s distinctive craftsmanship.

Each bowl is individually handcrafted and thrown on the potter’s wheel, giving every piece subtle variations in shape, glaze, and texture that make it uniquely its own.
