The fantastical design is inspired by the sunset seen from Cape Kasa, a scenic spot in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The inside of the cup is painted in the orange gradation of the sunset, while the outside is painted in blue and orange colors and spots, creating a wabi-sabi feel. Each cup is hand-painted by a craftsman using spray paint, and is dishwasher and microwave safe.
