Born in Okinawa Prefecture in 1970.
In 1989, he entered the Department of Art and Crafts, Faculty of Education, University of the Ryukyus.
While he was attracted to the free space of Japanese painting and ink painting, he was influenced by his teacher and aspired to become a contemporary artist, creating installations using ceramics.
He entered graduate school in 1992 and is active in the field of contemporary art, creating installations using photography, glass, and ceramics.
He graduated from graduate school in 1994. He began his career as an artist while working as a part-time instructor at a high school teaching pottery and arts and crafts.
After giving birth, she was concerned about the effect of glazes on her child, and so she limited herself to making high-grade fired shisa statues for a certain period of time.
He resumed his writing career in 2016.
